Hello, I'm Steve Porter!
I'd love to welcome you into our store in beautiful downtown Irving, TX. My family is blessed to have been running Porter's Army Navy here for 4 generations now - and we hope to be here for many more generations to come!
Over the decades, we've tried to make Porter's much more than just a store.
On any given day here, you'll see veterans sitting by our counter, looking at our latest army surplus finds and reminiscing...young kiddos watching as we make them a custom dog tag on our authentic WWII dog tag machine...and lovers of the outdoors browsing our HUGE selection of truly unique products.

Lots of cool random gadgets!
This place has everything when it comes to a military and airsoft outfitter - clothing, gear, new and used. Weapons, camo, flight suits, shoes, you name it. There is a small pawn shop inside also, and there is a huge variety of camping gear as well. The best thing about this place is the service. It's a family-owned operation, and they are ready to help you find anything you need. Lots of cool random gadgets! You must stop in!

Has Everything, Good Deal, Friendly Service
Excellent service from Mr. Porter himself on my first visit to this Army/Navy store. I didn't know it was the owner at the time who was helping us and anyone else who walked in. But I digress.... The store has everything we needed, a small hatchet, rain slicks, Magnum ammo (at a great price), BOOTS! Great boots for all weather, and a compass.

The owner was great, very personable, genuine and overall a delight to interact with. I witnessed firsthand the owner cares very much for each and every one of his customers without question and that is certainly why they have been open for so long. Although it was my first visit, it will not be my last! Great store with a wonderful staff! They not only support our Military, but help our Veterans both in service and out. They hold great fundraisers as well as helping others with their Veteran fundraisers, so I think if you're going to buy anything vet-related or need some bushcraft items or anything for camping/outdoors, they deserve it!
